| I SUMMARY 1.1 Main Application: This manual applies to our company's YOUDM5-7500 mud valve, this valve is used as the mud manifold, and used for all kinds of pipelines, it control the pipe connect or cut with other medium, suitable for the rated WP 7000PSI, ND requirement is 50mm. 1.2 Specifications: Rated Working Pressure: 52.5Mpa (7500 Psi) ND:125mm (5") Working Temperature:-29-121 ºC (Grade PU) Applicable Medium: Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Drilling fluid, Water Specification Level: PSL3 Performance Requirements Levels: PR1 Material Grade: DD End Outlet Connection: API 6A, XXH BW connection 1.3 Safety Performance: This product is comply with the requirement of API Spec 6 A and SY/T 5127-2002 "Equipment Standard of the Wellhead and Christmas Tree", from design, material selection, performance test and production test. This product quality is reliable when operate under the manual instruction strictly. II STRUCTURE CHARACTERISTICS AND WORKING PRINCIPLE 2. 2.1 This product is rising stem structure, mainly composed by body, seat, gate, stem bonnet, stem bolts, frame, handle and etc. 2.2 The main pressed parts adopts the material of alloy that conform to the standard of API Spec 6 A , which is safe and reliable. 2.3 The sealing between the gate and seat is metal sealing, the valve gate and seat sealing surface adopt the latest technology of spray welding at home and abroad, spray welding high wear resistance, provide corrosion resistance performance of the rigid Ni alloy material, so as to improve the service life of the product. 2.4 Use the bolt connection between the body and the cover, and used the new type of metal sealing. Simplified structure, to ensure the sealing performance. 2.5 Stem sealing filler adopts special structure composite materials, and reduce the valve switch torque when in high sealing performance, 2.6 Rotate the handle anticlockwise, the valve will start to open, on the contrary, it will be closed, when the valve in closed rightly, the handle should be reversed to 1/4, keep the gate in modulating position, so the sealing is done. 2.7 The valve should be kept in dry and clean place, seal the inlet and outlet, keep the valve in close status. |

| III INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 3.1 If product storage life is over one year, it must be under standardized pressure tested again before installation, and can only be allowed to use after qualified test. 3.2 Be sure to check whether the connecting bolts are loose before installation, if the bolts are loose, use the wrench to tighten, then inspect and clean the hole and valve sealing surface, preventing the fragments scratch the gate surface and affect the sealing performance. 3.3 Before storage, add the anti-rust oil on the valve end, and avoid the dusty pollute the cavity. . 3.4 Before the installation, no any mechanical damage could appear, this valve can only used to cut or connect the medium, the valve can only be kept in full-open or full-close position during operation, can not be used to adjust the flow, otherwise it will affect the valve sealing performance and use life. IV USING AND OPERATION 4.1 The valve stem lift thread uses the left trapezoidal thread, rotate the hand wheel clockwise is "close", and counter-clockwise handwheel is "open". 4.2 The gate is a closing part that move in the vertical direction along the channel center, only plays as cut a channel and open channel function, the valve gate can only be in the fully open and fully close position. Special note: the valve gate can not be kept as half close or half open. When the hand wheel in open (or close) in place, must be return 1/4 to 1/2 circle. 4.3 The valve gate uses the medium pressure to push the gate close to the gate sealing surface and execute the floating sealing, the gate can not be jammed when in operation, so when close in place it must be reversed to 1/4 ~ 1/2 circle. 4.4 When rotating the handwheel almost to the end, be careful not too fast, and not too fierce, to avoid the damage of the stem and stem nut. 4.5 The valve cover is used to protect the stem from being scratched or damaged, and avoid any hard particles into the stem thread, so it can not be arbitrarily removed. V MAINTENANCE Valve maintenance is according to the monthly maintenance and quarterly maintenance content, if the parts damaged, it should be changed accordingly. 5.1 Maintenance Projects: 5.1.1 Monthly Regular Maintenance Project: a) Add the lithium lubricating grease on the oil cup of the bearing seat, ensure the bearing flexible rotation. b) Remove the bonnet, clean the oil and dirt of the valve stem and stem nut, add the lithium lubricating grease on the stem trapezoidal thread part, ensure the stem and stem nut flexible rotation. c) Clean the greasy dirt on the valve surface. |

| 5.1.2 Quarterly Regular Maintenance Project: a) Including monthly maintenance projects. b) Fill in the 7903 sealing grease through the grease check valve on the bonnet, to lubricate the gate and seat, also could sealing tiny leakage. 5.2 Replacement of parts: 5.2.1 Replace Gate and Seat a) Release the valve cavity pressure, lifting the gate to open the valve, and the dismantling the connecting nut on the bonnet, take the bonnet assy together with the stem and gate, be careful to protect the gate and seat sealing surface when disassembling. b) Remove the flange gasket rings and guide, take out the seat with special tools. c) Clean the valve body inner, clean and check valve gate, seat, if there is any damage or deformation occurs, be sure to change with new parts. Seat sealing must be replaced with new pieces. d) Assembling the seat and gate, put the seat into the valve gate and seat hole, open the seat by special tools, and pull tightly, assemble the gate, the gate should be put between the two seat and can move up and down without stuck, then take out the gate. e) Install the sealing ring in the flange, and put the guide board on the seat. f) Connect the stem T groove with gate T groove, add the sealing grease 7903 on the two gate sealing surface, put the gate between the two seat slowly, loosen the special tools and take the tools out. g) Tighten the connecting bolts between bonnet and gate, ensure that the wheel is flexibly rotated. h) Inject the 7903 sealing grease to the cavity through the grease check valve on the bonnet side, until it is full. i) Make the seat sealing pressure test on the valve side, pressure is 35Mpa, holding time is 15mins, check the valve seat and body, gate sealing, bonnet and gate flange sealing, all these parts should with no leakage, then it can be put into use. 5.2.2 Replace Stem Seal Packing a) Cut the pressure source, disassemble the parts in the order of bonnet, handwheel, holder, stem nuts, bearing and packing gland, taking the broken packing out by screwdriver. b) Clean and dry the packing, stem, packing gland, stem bolts, bearing, check if the above parts are all in good condition, replace the useless ones with new parts. c) Spray the lubricating grease on the sealing packing surface, add packing into the packing box, assembling the packing gland, bearing, stem bolts, holder, handwheel, valve cover in order. Special attention: The holder should be installed at its original position, and add the screw tightly, to ensure the good condition of sealing performance between stem and bonnets. d) Problems and trouble shooting refer to table 1. |

| VI TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE 6.1 Empty the cavity waste water after the pressure testing, and clean the internal and external surface water spots. 6.2 Before transportation, a kind of rust preventive should be sprayed on the exposed metal surface, which would not be fluid when the temperature is under 125 ° F (52 ° C) . 6.3 Exposed sealing surface should be protected, to avoid being mechanical damaged during transportation. 6.4 When being lifted, it is not allowed to tie the lifting rope on the hand wheel. 6.5 The valves should be kept in dry place and not stored outdoor when temporarily not on use.
